The NHS Commissioning Board Authority has appointed Paula Vasco-Knight as National Equalities Lead. Paula will be giving one day a week to lead the equalities work at the NHS Commissioning Board whilst continuing her current role as CEO at the South Devon Healthcare Foundation NHS Trust and Senior Responsible Officer for the Equality Delivery System (EDS).

I’m sure I speak for all the SDHFT Council of Governors in congratulating our Paula upon her new appointment. She will give it her all, while at the same time continuing to lead our Trust in her usual effective and inspiring way.
Really pleased for top level progress on the vital equalities agenda. Congratulations to Paula. Please could the names and titles of staff within the NHS Commissioning Board who will be supporting Paula be made public. This will give added assurance to everyone working so hard to deliver on equalities.
