Nursing, Midwives and Care Staff – Join our 6Cs Live! Week of Action

Today (Monday 23September) marks the start of NHS England’s 6Cs Live! Commissioning Week of Action so we are calling all nurses, midwives and care staff delivering the 6Cs – care, compassion, competence, communication, courage and commitment – to get involved.

This is a great opportunity to learn, share and connect with others, such as through these webinars taking place throughout the week:

  • Monday 23rd September 4pm – ‘The Role of a CCG Nurse’
  • Tuesday 24th September 12pm – ‘Getting Started with Webinars’
  • Thursday 26th September 10.30am – ‘The Keogh Review Process’

Register for these events here

On Thursday (26th September) at 8pm, 6Cs Live! teams up with WeNurses for a twitter chat on ‘Frontline nurses and commissioners: a partnership’ engage with and influence commissioning?’. Come along, participate or simply watch and enjoy the conversation! Find out more here.

Matt Hodson, our resident 6Cs Live! Week of Action Blogger and Nurse of the Year will also be sharing his thoughts and ideas around commissioning.

Throughout the year the 6Cs Live! team will be running week-long events on different themes to celebrate success as well as offer nurses, midwives and care staff from all settings the chance to learn and get support.

Find out more about how you can get involved, and make your pledge to support 6Cs Live! by visiting the 6Cs Live! website.
