Since being established NHS England has been seeking and developing ways to put patient participation at the heart of its decision-making. Lord Victor Adebowale,  Ciaran Devane  (Non-Executive Directors) and Tim Kelsey (National Director for Patients and Information) are leading the way in exploring a new model for participation in NHS England.

Two development days are taking place on 22 and 23 October towards the establishment of a Citizens’ Assembly. Tim Kelsey, NHS England’s National Director for Patients and Information, explains more about the Citizens’ Assembly and how it will empower people in a 21st Century NHS.
