Guidance on direct payments for healthcare: Understanding the regulations has been updated to reflect the introduction of integrated care boards (ICBs) in July 2022.

This document provides guidance for commissioners to support the implementation of The National Health Service (Direct Payments) Regulations 2013 and The National Health Service Commissioning Board and Clinical Commissioning Groups (Responsibilities and Standing Rules) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2014 and (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2019.
