Places still available at free sustainability and health conference

There are still a few places left at the South Regional Sustainability and Health Network second annual conference on Wednesday 14 October 2015, being held at the At-Bristol Science Centre.

The event is free to attend, and will build on the success of last year’s conference. It will focus on ways to embed sustainability in the health and care systems.

Delegates can register for the event via the NHS England events website.

The conference will bring together leaders and those with an interest in sustainability from the NHS, public health and social care, voluntary and other partner organisations to share ideas about how we can move to embed the sustainability agenda in the health and care systems.

A primary aim of the conference is to demonstrate that rather than a ‘nice to do’ sustainable working is core to the current transformation agendas of NHS England and Public Health England and that working sustainably will enhance our ability to deliver improved health outcomes.
