For GP Commissioners, making the most of your drugs spend as well as all other areas of your GP commissioning budget, is going to be important for you. The overall objective of this module is not to seek to make you ‘experts’ in medicines management issues, but to raise your level of knowledge, skill and insight into the key issues, so you know more about ‘what you don’t know’ and can ask key questions of the relevant experts and can develop a clear plan of action for taking forward the issues within and across your GP Commissioning Consortium and your constituent practices.
