Excellence in Participation Awards – your last chance to nominate

There are just a few days left to enter NHS England’s Excellence in Participation Awards.

The Awards celebrate the outstanding contributions of people and organisations across the country that are transforming people’s lives, improving health and care services and putting patients, service users, carers and communities at the very heart of health and care.

If you wish to nominate someone, a group of people or an organisation – or even nominate yourselves – you have until 9am on Monday January 20 to get your entry in.

The awards will contribute to a culture of excellence and achievement across individual and public participation in health which can then be celebrated and shared nationally.

There are a range of awards all designed to recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements by people and organisations.

A special People’s Awards category will recognise innovative approaches to involving children and young people, promoting volunteering and individual contribution. The final judging panel will include NHS staff, patients, service users, carers and/or the public.

Winners will be announced on March 3, 2014 at NHS England’s Health & Care Innovation Expo 2014 being held in Manchester.
