EU Exit Strategic Commander and Medical Director for Acute Care and Emergency Preparedness Professor Keith Willett has written to clinical commissioning group and trust chief executives outlining the operational response that we, along with NHS England, are undertaking at a national and regional level in preparation for the transition. Professor Willett’s letter also includes contact information for any issues or queries you may have.

Nominations sought for the Queen’s New Year’s Honours list
The Department of Health and Social Care are looking for potential candidates from across the health and social care system for the 2020 New Year’s Honours list. They are looking for people who have made an outstanding contribution, and the Prime Minister has reaffirmed that honours should be awarded on ‘merit first’ to those giving service above and beyond.
The deadline for completed nominations is Monday 4 March. Nominations should ideally be signed-off by the chair or chief executive of your organisation.
