For action

Take part in our website discovery project

Now NHS England and NHS Improvement have come together as a single organisation, we are running a discovery process before building our new website. The lessons we learn will be used to create a website that works better for all our users.

We would like to speak with some trust executive directors who use our website ( This would likely involve a phone interview or a face-to-face meeting.

Please contact if you would like to help us shape our website.

New criteria-led discharge support resource for managers

Criteria-led discharge (CLD) helps get patients home as soon as it’s safe and appropriate, improves patient experience, and increases capacity for weekend discharges. Our new guide to CLD supports managers to implement, sustain and spread CLD, as well as providing context and evidence around the process.

Listen to the second NHS Assembly podcast

In this episode, NHS Assembly members explain how we can build trusting relationships to support people to share responsibility, not just for their own health, but also for the wellbeing of their community. You can also hear about the role of innovation in transforming NHS services and empowering staff and patients, as well as how the NHS is preparing for leaving the EU.

The NHS Assembly is working for everyone, so please share your ideas or comments on the topics raised in this podcast on Twitter using #NHSAssembly, and keep up-to-date with the latest news by subscribing to our new NHS Assembly bulletin.
