Board meetings

The Board of NHS England hold meetings regularly and members of the public are welcome to attend and observe these, subject to available space.

The Board meeting, although held in public, is not a public meeting and as such there is no opportunity provided for the public to ask questions in that arena. Although there is no opportunity for questions to be raised in the meeting itself, members of the public are welcome to send in any questions they may have to, and will receive a written response.

The Board also holds meetings in closed session, where confidential items of business are discussed, if this is the case, the public will be excluded.
