A fair experience for all

One of the key aims of the Interim NHS People Plan is to make the NHS the best place to work for all its workforce.

Part of achieving this is a concerted focus to close the gap in the disproportionate rates of disciplinary action between BME and white staff across the healthcare system.

This strategy outlines clear aspirational goals in this area for local NHS organisations, as well as national healthcare arm’s length bodies such as NHS England and NHS Improvement to work towards now and 2022.
