The CAHPO Conference will be taking place virtually on the 21, 22 and 23 June 2022
You will need to book a ticket to attend the event.
The sixth annual Chief Allied Health Professions Officer’s (CAHPO) conference will focus on the launch of the next AHP Strategy for England with an anticipated publication date of June 2022.
The event will take place virtually across three days, broken into sessions aligned to the five new priority areas outlined in the next AHP strategy, complemented by additional sessions on relevant subjects covered in the strategy. There will be opportunities for discussion and shared learning within the networking and breakout spaces aimed at supporting the connection people value at an in-person conference.
The event will welcome 500 virtual attendees from across the 14 allied health professions, and from all parts of the AHP Community, including support workers, assistant practitioners, registered professionals, pre-registration apprentices and students.
Suzanne Rastrick, Chief Allied Health Professions Office for England, will give the opening address, reflecting on achievements since AHPs into Action and looking forward to the future with the next AHP strategy.
We aim to introduce and connect AHPs to the opportunities for them and their teams arising in the long-term plan both operationally and strategically, in the context of the next AHP strategy. The conference is also outwardly focused showcasing to other professional groups and system leaders the transformational power of AHPs.
For those who do not secure a spot, presentations will be livestreamed.
