Patient/Carer or NHS Staff: NHS doctor
Condition or job title: FY1 doctor
Place of treatment/care or workplace: Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH)
I am an FY1 doctor working at the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH). This is my second job in the NHS, having recently completed 4 months of training in a urology job. I now work in the Acute Medical Unit at the PRUH, and I absolutely love it! I studied medicine at Imperial College London, with a BSc in Endocrinology. My interests lie in reproductive endocrinology and gynaecology. I have published numerous recent papers in high ranking journals on wide ranging subjects from fertility stimulation protocols to ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. I am also a foundation trainee representative, and I am heavily involved in healthcare policies and shaping the future of clinical trainees. I enjoy teaching and regularly return to Imperial as a mentor for medical students across all years. In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis, going swimming and spending time with family and friends.
