Job Title: Surgical Registrar
Place of work: York Hospital
I’m currently working as a Surgical Registrar in general and vascular surgery at York hospital.
In my spare time, I volunteer with Scarborough and Ryedale mountain rescue team helping to “save lives in wild and remote places”. In order to improve my pre-hospital care skills I also spend time with the West Yorkshire medical response team which has a voluntary staffed emergency response car which aims to bring lifesaving critical care out of the hospital directly to the side of the most seriously injured patients.
I’ve been married for just over a year and seventeen weeks ago started life with Penny, our first daughter.
Hope you enjoy following me this week.
