Hi, I’m Professor Chloe Orkin. I am a Consultant in HIV Medicine at Barts Health NHS Trust where I have worked for the past 15 years. I am the current Chair of the British HIV Association. I graduated from medical school in South Africa in 1995 and completed my specialist training in HIV/GUM at the Chelsea and Westminster hospital. My clinical interests are anti-retroviral therapy and hepatitis co-infection and I lead a busy HIV clinical trials unit. I am passionate about increasing HIV testing and in 2015 I ran the first UK-based blood-borne virus testing week- ‘Going Viral’.
I live in London with my wife and have 3 dogs and 2 cats. In my spare time I enjoy photography and long walks.
