Hi, I’m Richard. I’m 40 years old and like walking, cycling and going to the gym as well as being with friends and family. I love all things superheroes – so right now is a perfect time for me with all the movies and TV shows available. I have just watched the first season of Luke Cage and it was fantastic!

Music is another passion of mine. Listening rather than creating though. Queen, David Bowie and A-ha are some of my favourites. I like going to live shows as well as some musicals. I really liked Book of Mormon.

I moved to Australia when I was 12 years old with my family, and lived there for 17 years. I then lived and worked in the US for five years (San Diego and Atlanta) as a Product Manager for a software company. I have been living in England for the past six years. I am fortunate in that I have two mums’. An adoptive mum who lives in Australia and a birth mum that lives in England. I have got three brothers and two sisters.

In more normal circumstances I am the Head of the Digital Studio at Burrows. We build apps and websites, that sort of thing. It is a great place to work with an amazing bunch of people.

I love animals – with Orangutans and Bassett Hounds at the top of the list. I have adopted an Orangutan called Jumbo that lives in Borneo. He is an orphan, with his mum killed as a result of the deforestation related to palm oil farming. I would like to get a Basset Hound (or two) at some stage next year…they would make great best friends.
