Starting from 00:01 on 20 November 2020 NHS England and NHS Improvement will accept service of proceedings by email directly to either the dedicated legal proceedings inbox: firstname.lastname@example.org or, where external lawyers are instructed and on record as acting in a particular matter, to the email address of the lawyer named as acting. Proceedings received between 09.00-16.30 Monday-Friday will be treated as received on the same business day, outside of that time frame they will be treated as received on the following business day. Proceedings must be sent in standard email format (not via secure mailing systems such as mimecast) and, if documents are password protected, they will be deemed as received when the password is provided.
