Initial proposals for the Evidence-Based Interventions (EBI) programme guidance were developed in partnership with the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges, NHS Clinical Commissioners, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, NHS England & Improvement, Royal Colleges, specialist societies, CCGs, providers, patients and the public.
We consulted on these initial proposals in July – September 2018 and produced a report of the consultation findings which was published in November 2018.
The Evidence-Based Interventions programme guidance was updated to reflect the consultation feedback received and the programme guidance came into effect on 1 April 2019.

To support CCGs to monitor their progress in line with the new guidance a dashboard (part of ePACT2) displaying CCG activity against each of the seventeen interventions is now available on the NHSBA website. To access the dashboard CCGs will need to complete the registration process so please quote that you would like access to the EBI dashboard when applying.
