Using the Model Hospital to improve productivity

Thursday 6 September, 12:30-13:30

Location: PUU7

Since its launch in 2016 the Model Hospital has become an invaluable productivity tool for thousands of NHS staff, with more of you signing up every day and more data available all the time.

The Model Hospital is a nationally-available digital information system containing metrics relating to productivity, efficiency and quality of care.

More specifically, the Model Hospital shows how different trusts perform across a series of services and functions, helping organisations to compare productivity, quality and responsiveness with their peers, identify best practice and find opportunities to improve value.

To learn more about the Model Hospital, its functionality and how you can make best use of it, join us at the Model Hospital pop up university session at Expo on 6 September, 12:30-1:30pm.

This session will demonstrate how to use the Model Hospital and provide you with real trust examples, to help you to understand and interpret the metrics, and meaningfully identify productivity opportunities for your trust.

You will also be able to preview new designs for the Model Hospital, highlighting exciting new features. This new version has been produced in collaboration with our large and engaged user community, to ensure the tool is responsive and intuitive to use.

The Model Hospital will continue to improve and evolve in response to your ideas and feedback, so come along and let us know your thoughts!
