Health and Care Innovation Expo 2016 returned to Manchester Central on 7 and 8 September 2016.
The NHS you see at Expo is a forward-thinking organisation, staffed by clinicians and managers who welcome innovations in technology and information because they recognise the difference this will make to their patients’ lives.
This year, we welcomed 5,022 people to Health and Care Innovation Expo, and 93 per cent of survey respondents told us they had a positive experience.
Once again, Expo focused on the biggest health and care issues and developments as we continue to implement the NHS Five Year Forward View.
Across two main speaker stages, four feature zones, and over 100 workshops in our unique pop-up university, we explored the most important aspects of health and care work across England.
Our varied exhibition, dedicated learning sessions and satellite events ensured people with particular specialties, experience and interests could drill down further to gain detailed insights and practical support.
