How to get to Expo

Manchester Central is an iconic venue in the heart of Manchester. It’s right in the centre of the UK and easy to reach via Manchester’s extensive transport network.

Arriving in Manchester

On foot

On arrival in Manchester you can walk to Manchester Central from the three central train stations:

  • Manchester Piccadilly is 20 minutes on foot
  • Manchester Victoria is 15 minutes on foot
  • Manchester Oxford Road is 5 minutes on foot

By rail

It takes a little over two hours to reach Manchester from London and Manchester also has direct connections to most major UK cities. Services arrive at Piccadilly or Victoria stations where passengers can take a short walk to Manchester Central. Alternatively, catch a connecting train to Oxford Road Station and then walk just five minutes to Manchester Central on foot.
