Invite to shape the future of nursing and midwifery education

The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) regulates nurses and midwives in the UK. The NMC has launched a public consultation looking at the new education standards students will need to meet before they can become registered nurses. Help shape the next generation of nurses and midwives and details of webinars and workshops across the UK on their website here.

Care makers; Leading Change, Adding Value Webinar: 30 November 5pm

Care Makers have a key role to promote and role-model how staff can use the Leading Change, Adding Value framework to close the three gaps identified in the Five Year Forward View by making sure the activities we do are of high value. During November and December 2017, we are hosting a series of Leading Change, Adding Value webinars specifically designed to support care makers in putting the framework into action.

In the first of this webinar series, join Anthony Longbone, Nursing Assistant and Care maker, Kingsway Hospital, Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust who will be also sharing his experiences of using the Leading Change, Adding Value framework, as part of the session.  Anthony will be joined by Stacey McCann, Head of Strategy and Commissioning from the Leading Change, Adding Value team.  Care makers will also have an opportunity to contribute to the development of a new online case study library the ‘Atlas of Shared Learning’.
