Leading Change, Adding Value is a framework that enables all nursing, midwifery and care staff to lead change and add value, whatever their role, wherever they work. To reduce unwarranted variation and improve outcomes for patients; nursing, midwifery and care staff all have a vital role in leading change, no matter how big or small.Whether you know about the framework already and are actively reducing unwarranted variation as a result or if you haven’t heard about or applied the framework to your role and you’re looking to find out more, there are a number of ways you can get involved:

Share your work

We are collecting case studies, as examples of best practice, to showcase within the new Leading Change, Adding Value Atlas of Shared Learning. The Atlas will clearly demonstrate, through more than 200 case studies, how nursing, midwifery and care staff across the health and care sectors, are putting Leading Change, Adding Value into practice. We are looking for a variety of examples, varying from  large-scale change through to individuals making everyday changes that improve the lives of those they care for.
