Services in the Community – the Art of the Possible

Procuring, Commissioning and Providing Services in the Community to Meet the Needs of the Future.

To support commissioners and providers of Community Services across London, a conference is planned for Monday 14 July in central London:

This conference is seen as an opportunity to draw together the different partners to facilitate learning and action planning in partnership for Community Services.

There have been many discussions about the need for a major transformation of community services across London and much work is going on across the capital at a local level to take this forward. To achieve the type of transformation that is required will necessitate all partners working well together across the capital and maximising our shared expertise and influence.

Key highlights of the day will be: update on good practice models for procuring services in community the Community; developing tools for the commissioning of integrated community services; and learning about innovative Provider service models in the community.

This event is your chance to:

  • Network and learn from people already pursuing innovative commissioning and provision models in the Community;
  • Learn about legal and practical considerations for the procurement of Community Services in part and in totality;
  • Learn about the commissioning enablers and tools that can be used to facilitate effective change;
  • Find out about innovative models of provision that facilitate integration and promote patient self management;
  • Influence the work programme of the London Community Services Design Group.
