How to get your COVID-19 vaccine

From Friday 15 December 2023, the national booking system, NHS App and 119 phone service will be closed for flu and COVID-19 vaccination booking.

After this date, and until 31 January 2024, you can book a COVID-19 vaccination directly with a local vaccination service, such as a pharmacy or visit a walk-in site. Details of walk in sites can be found at Find a walk-in COVID-19 vaccination site.

After 31 January, in most cases, you will have to wait until a future seasonal campaign. If you develop a new health condition or start treatment that severely weakens your immune system, you may be able to get vaccinated sooner, but only if your clinician advises it.

Online bookings will reopen next year. The NHS will contact you if your NHS record suggests you may be eligible for a flu or seasonal COVID-19 vaccine.
