October is Black History Month (BHM). This national celebration is an opportunity to recognise the contributions of NHS staff from Black backgrounds, as well as celebrate Black Londoners as a whole.

This Black History Month, we have a month-long programme of events and workshops to celebrate, motivate and educate NHS staff. From inspirational talks by Dame Elizabeth Nneka Anionwu and Professor Patrick Vernon to educational workshops on tackling inequalities, there’s something for everyone on this year’s calendar of events.
