National shortlist 2023

NHS regional teams across England announced the individuals and teams chosen for the national shortlist in the NHS Parliamentary Awards 2023.

The champions – including NHS volunteers, patients, local council health teams and the creators of extraordinary digital innovations – will now vie with each other for a national award to be presented at a special ceremony at the QEII Centre, Westminster, on 5 July.

The NHS Parliamentary Awards recognises the massive contributions made by those who work in and alongside the NHS as we reach the health service’s 75th birthday.

Launched in March, we asked MPs from across the country to find and nominate those individuals or teams they thought have made the biggest improvements to health services in their constituencies across ten categories.

From more than 750 entries submitted by almost half of all MPs in England, senior NHS experts have chosen seventy outstanding nominations, which exemplify the best of what the NHS and its partners do day in, day out.
