NHS to make Glastonbury debut

To mark 75 years of the NHS, Glastonbury festival have planned a special moment on the main Pyramid Stage on Saturday 24 June at 5.30 pm.

Former Bristol Laureate poet Miles Chambers will be performing a poem he has written for the NHS, which will be accompanied by a film with NHS highlights over our 75-year history.

Joining Miles on stage to help recite the poem and to represent our 1.26 million NHS staff in England will be Glastonbury GP Rebecca Hall, physiotherapist Ben Matthews and nurse Angela Reece.
