NHS Surrey and Sussex Integrated Care Board (ICB) was established on 1 April 2026 and is one of the largest integrated care systems in England, serving a population of more than three million people.
We lead the planning, commissioning and improvement of NHS services across Surrey and Sussex, working in partnership with local authorities, NHS providers, primary care, the voluntary sector and local communities to improve health outcomes, tackle inequalities and make the best use of public money.
We are now seeking an exceptional individual to join our Board as Chair of the Audit Committee. You will bring significant financial and governance expertise, together with the judgement and independence of mind to provide rigorous challenge, assurance and oversight at a formative moment for a new organisation.
As a Non-Executive Member of the Board, you will help shape the future of health and care across Surrey and Sussex – holding the executive to account for high-quality, financially sustainable services and for demonstrable value to the communities we serve.
