Children and Young People’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Steering Group

Chairs: Dr Lynne Howey and Dr Ruth Andrews, Clinical Leads for Children and Young People’s Mental Health and Wellbeing

The Children and Young People’s Mental Health and Wellbeing ICS Partnership drives the activity of the Network. This group meets every two months and draws expertise from stakeholders from across the system of CYP services.

The Partnership provides strategic and system leadership in order to support the implementation of service transformation as set out in the Future in Mind policy, and to lead on the integration of health, social care and other CYP services in its role as the Integrated Care System for children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing.

The Partnership runs a range of groups that deliver on the strategic objectives of the steering group:

  • Scaling up of integrated care (resilience, crisis and care)
  • Voices of Children, Young People and Families
  • Transformation and workforce development across the whole system
  • Using LTPs to drive transformation
  • Using outcome measures to assess transformation
