The Nursing and Midwifery COVID-19 Catalogue of Change includes a wide range of cases studies from nurses and midwives from across England; sharing ideas and innovations that they have put in place and that have made a difference in these difficult times.

Showcasing the key role our professions held during the pandemic including examples of day-to-day practice adaptations made by nurses, midwives and nursing associates across England to ensure services remained of the highest quality standard. Capturing in real-time, these case studies are provided by point of care nursing and midwifery teams to share their learning, innovations and interventions as part of our continued commitment to collective leadership approaches.

The cases studies within the catalogue are underpinned by relevant evidence-based policy and complemented by the work of the Chief Nursing Officer for England’s shared professional decision-making councils, where nursing and midwifery colleagues come together to discuss and debate professional, clinical and operational matters that are important to them and their colleagues.
