This is the home page of the NHS England National Infection Prevention and Control team. The page includes links to the National Infection Prevention and Control Manual (NIPCM), as well as supporting tools and resources.
The NIPCM is an evidence-based practice manual for use by everyone involved in delivering care in England. It should be adopted as mandatory guidance in NHS settings, and in other settings where NHS services are delivered. The principles should also be applied across all care settings.
