How people are getting involved

NHS England is committed to working and engaging with patients, carers and the public in a wide range of ways.  Ensuring that people’s views are heard at all levels and across all parts of the healthcare system is essential for creating and delivering better health and care services. Why not get involved in the following ways:

  1. The NHS belongs to the people: a call to action – NHS England’s call to action to staff, public and politicians to help the NHS  meet future demand and tackle its funding gap through ‘honest and realistic’ debate
  2. Improving general practice – a call to action.

  4. We are developing approaches and networks to ensure that people’s input can be sought, heard and acted on. We are determined to ensure that people’s voices are at the heart of transforming healthcare services. Sign up to receive our newsletter.
  5. Forum for People with a Learning Disability and/or Autism, their Families, Carers and Supporters – this is being developed to improve the health of people with a learning disability and/ or autism, and the quality of services they receive. For more details, email us.
