Patient safety partners working with NHS England’s National Patient Safety team

We are looking for new patient safety partners (PSPs) to join NHS England’s National Patient Safety team. PSPs play a vital role in ensuring the voices of patients, carers, and families are at the heart of our work to improve safety across the NHS. We welcome applications from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences to help us bring a wide range of perspectives to patient safety.

As a PSP, you’ll work alongside healthcare professionals and decision-makers on projects that match your interests and skills, ensuring your insights have a real impact. You’ll receive training, mentorship and support. Most work is online during the day via Microsoft Teams. For more details, see the information pack or email patientsafetyenquiries@nhs.net to arrange an informal chat before applying.

Please ensure you complete the expression of interest form and diversity monitoring form before the closing date.
