National nursing and midwifery network

National Nursing and Midwifery NetworkThe National Nursing and Midwifery Network (NNMN) aims to provide a network of innovative nursing and midwifery leaders from the VTE national exemplar centres to support the National VTE Advisory Group, by implementing work stream strategies around audit, research, education, clinical practice, communication, midwifery and community that aim to improve the quality of care for people at risk of VTE.

The NNMN meet twice annually, hosted and supported by Dr David Foster, Head of Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professionals Policy Unit, Department of Health.

The NNMN receive many clinical practice queries from clinicians across the world, these queries are circulated to the network members who share their considerable experience and knowledge to aid decision making and promote best practice. If you have a VTE related query, please e mail communications lead, Emma Gee.
