This introduction examines how co-production has been used in health and care settings to date, what good co-production would look like, and how these resources have been developed. The project was jointly led by the Knowledge and Evaluation for Improvement team and the Experience of Care team at NHS England (then NHS England and NHS Improvement), with We Coproduce providing expert input throughout.
