The 2024 Autumn Spending Review provided the NHS with a one-year capital settlement for 2025/26, with allocations covering multiple funding streams to support integrated capital and revenue planning.

This guidance sets out the basis of the capital framework, allocations, and planning for 2025/26.

Following the conclusion of the 2025 Spending Review (Phase 2) in June 2025, a multi-year capital settlement has now been confirmed. We have updated the capital guidance to reflect this multi-year period and provide clarity on allocations and planning beyond 2025/26.
