Following a clinical stocktake, minor changes have been made to the NHS Pharmacy First Service clinical pathways, patient group directions (PGDs) and protocol. In anticipation of these changes coming into effect from Wednesday 1 October 2025, the updated service documents have been published. The current clinical pathways, PGDs and protocol will remain in place until 11.59pm on Tuesday 30 September 2025, and are available on the NHS Business Services Authority website.
