Sexual health and HIV services in Surrey – have your say

NHS England and NHS Improvement South East, in partnership with Surrey County Council, are seeking feedback about sexual health and HIV services in Surrey.

Two questionnaires – one for people who use Surrey sexual health services and one for professionals who may signpost their patients to the services – have been developed asking for feedback on the following:

  • Clinics, online and outreach services in Surrey provided by Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL)
  • Local pharmacies providing emergency hormonal contraception, chlamydia and gonorrhoea testing kits and chlamydia treatment.
  • Patient experience of long acting reversible contraception (LARC) (provided by GPs and CNWL)

The surveys should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete. The patient questionnaire and the professionals questionnaire are available online.

In addition to these questionnaires we are also sending out a separate questionnaire to GPs regarding long acting reversal contraception provision (LARC).

The questionnaire will be available to complete until the 3 May 2019. Your responses are very important to us. By sharing your views and experiences you can help us make improvements and ensure that the services are meeting your needs.

Engagement Events

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL) will be holding engagement events in partnership with Surrey County Council at the three main clinics during April. This will be an opportunity for patients to share their views and experiences of the service they have received from CNWL. The events will be led by staff who work in the service who will be available to answer any questions, concerns or compliments you may want to share. There will be a paper based questionnaire that patients will be encouraged to complete and hand in. For those who are unable to attend the events, the questionnaire will be available online. For more information, please see the CNWL Engagement Events flyer.
