Vaccinations: Flu
Flu vaccinations
This publication contains information on the number of people who have had a flu vaccination since 1 September 2024, by NHS region of GP practice, by age-based cohorts and by week. The publication data includes all individuals with a flu vaccination administered in England, even if individuals are resident outside of England, do not have an NHS number or are no longer alive.
Data is collected via the Data Processing Service (DPS), which aggregates data from GP IT and other Point of Care (PoC) systems.
Data
Autumn/Winter 2024/25 weekly Flu data vaccinations
The Autumn 2024 flu campaign began on 1 September 2024 for pregnant women, children aged 2 or 3, school-aged children (from Reception to Year 11) and children in a clinical risk group aged 6 months to 17 years. All other cohorts became eligible on 3 October 2024.
Flu vaccination data will be released weekly on Thursdays at 9:30am during this seasonal campaign.
The data is extracted on a Tuesday and covers vaccinations administered up to midnight of the previous Sunday. This means there will be a slight undercount as more data is reported in the coming days for that period.
The weekly publication for the Autumn/Winter 2024/25 campaign includes vaccination information with the following breakdowns:
