Further to the NHS England announcement on the 9 May regarding the recommissioning of flu vaccinations in community pharmacies for 2016/17 the London regional team would also like to confirm that they expect to have a service specification for the supplementary service available in the near future.

In London the partnership between GPs and Pharmacies to improve uptake of seasonal flu and pneumococcal vaccination has been ongoing for three years and the patient feedback strongly suggests we should continue this program. This is particularly important for those Londoners without a GP registration.
