London NHS staff across dentistry, physiotherapy, social care and occupational therapy have been recognized alongside dozens of healthcare staff in the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Honours List.

NHS staff, including GPs, nurses and midwives across the country have also been honoured in the landmark awards, celebrating 70 years of the Queen’s service.

Andrew Ridley, Regional Director for the NHS in London, said:

“I am delighted that so many of London’s NHS staff have been rightly recognised in the historic Jubilee honours, and their contribution to the health of our capital city celebrated.

“It is fantastic to see the breadth of the work our staff do reflected in the honours awarded. I congratulate every one of those receiving an award for their continued commitment to care for Londoners, and I thank the many dedicated NHS staff who will be working to keep our city safe and well this Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend.”
