Update on the Amesbury incident

Following exposure to a nerve agent on Saturday 30 June, one inpatient (a man in his 40s) remains in the care of Salisbury District Hospital. He is in a critical but stable condition, and is now conscious.
Public Health England has issued further advice for the public on their website. Based on current evidence, Public Health England is advising that the risk to the general public from this substance has not changed and remains low.
