Patient survey about NHS services at The Locality Health Centre, Weston-super-Mare

Patients of the Locality Health Centre in Weston-super-Mare are being asked for their views to help shape future services at the practice.

The NHS is holding a procurement exercise to find a provider for The Locality Health Centre practice in Weston-super-Mare to continue running the practice.

This is because the current contract for the practice was time limited, meaning it was commissioned for a fixed period and that contract is coming to an end on 31st October 2018.

In the meantime it will be business as usual at the practice and patients are advised to continue using GP practice services as normal.

Patients at The Locality Health Centre are being encouraged to take part in a survey and their responses will help to ensure that NHS services at the practice continue to meet the needs of the local population for the longer term.

The patient survey can be completed by patients in person at The Locality Health Centre as well as online. Posters promoting the survey are also displayed in the practice.

The Patient Participant Group (PPG) will be at the practice where they will be able to answer any questions.

The NHS has asked the local media and wider stakeholders to share the survey to gauge patient views.

Dr Jon Hayes, chair of Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire CCG said:

“We are absolutely committed to ensuring patients at The Locality Health Centre get the best quality services. The more patients that take part in the survey means that services will reflect local needs a lot closer.”

The survey is available online at NHS England’s website.

The survey only takes a few minutes to fill in and can be done anonymously. It must be completed by Wednesday 15th August 2018.
