Help Us Help You survey receives fantastic reponse

In July we launched our Help Us Help You survey across the South West to find out what local people thought of the way services changed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

We had a fantastic response with over 6,600 people completing the survey. So thank you to everyone who took the time to share their views.

We will publish a detailed report on our website in the coming weeks summarising what we have learned.

The information local people have provided will help us understand the impact of the temporary changes that the NHS had to make in order to protect people’s safety during the pandemic, such as the offer of video and phone consultations. This is invaluable to helping us provide NHS services that best meet our population’s needs as we prepare for a potential second wave of covid-19.

The results will also be shared across the seven NHS systems in the region, so they can use it to help shape local services in the longer term to reduce health inequalities and deliver the best care in the right place at the right time.
