Baroness Neuberger appointed Chair of Whittington Health NHS Trust from 1 April 2020

NHS England and NHS Improvement in London is pleased to announce the appointment of Baroness Julia Neuberger as Chair of Whittington Health NHS Trust from 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2024.

From 1 November 2019, the current Vice Chair, Anu Singh will step up as Acting Chair until 31 March 2020.

David Holt, appointed Interim Chair while Anu Singh was out of the country over the summer, will revert to his role as Non-Executive Director

Baroness Neuberger will continue in her current role as Chair of University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Sir David Sloman, Regional Director of the NHS in London said:

“Julia will bring a wealth of experience and expertise to this significant role at Whittington Health. I look forward to working together come April.”

With Baroness Neuberger currently Chair of University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, the appointment as Chair at Whittington Health underpins the partnership and collaboration between the trusts as they develop working as part of a broader and co-ordinated system for the communities they serve.
