Countdown to flu survey in the South East begins as over 200 responses received so far

The countdown for parents and carers of 2 and 3-year olds to complete a flu survey in the South East of England has begun with just five days to go until it closes on 20 June 2022

If you are a parent or carer of a child aged 2 or 3 who has previously had the flu vaccination and you live in the counties of Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, then NHS South East would like to hear about your experience by completing the following short online survey – click here.

Equally, if you haven’t had your child vaccinated, we would still like to hear from you to understand why not, and we would encourage you to still take part in the survey.

The survey has already received over 200 responses.

Each year, children aged 2 and 3 are eligible for a free flu vaccination in the form of a quick and easy nasal spray at their GP practice.

Responses to the survey will help the NHS in the South East of England to understand any barriers or challenges faced by parents or carers when having their child vaccinated, or not as may have been the case, as part of their forward planning for this year’s flu programme (2022/2023).
