NHS England has today published the latest statistical information relating to hospital situation reports for the period 3 November 2014, when reporting began, to 18 January 2015.

The data is collected from acute trusts each weekday during winter and indicates where there are any winter pressures on the service around the country such as:

• A&E closures;
• cancelled operations;
• bed pressures; and
• ambulance delays.
