Accelerated Access Collaborative (AAC) funds innovations that support children and young people’s health
The AAC – through the Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) Healthcare – has awarded £3 million to support the development of four innovations to improve the health and wellbeing of children and young people.
The selected innovations include a non-invasive and needle free continuous glucose monitor for children with diabetes, and a platform and device to help manage respiratory health in children.
These innovations were chosen because they have the biggest potential to deliver the transformative care needed for patients and clinical staff, to deliver an NHS that is fit for the future.
