Accelerated Access Collaborative (AAC) funds innovations that support mental health in the workplace
The AAC – through the Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) Healthcare – has awarded more than £1.7 million to support innovations that help people with their mental health in the workplace.
The selected nine digital innovations will support people with their mental health, to help them gain work, stay in work, and / or return to work. They include an AI coach that uses mental health evaluations to develop personalised interventions, and a Virtual Reality (VR) platform delivering Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy for depression and anxiety.
These innovations were chosen because they have the biggest potential to deliver the transformative care needed for patients and clinical staff, to deliver an NHS that is fit for the future.
